Happy 2011. 2010 was a difficult year with Kathy losing her Uncle and her Father within several weeks of each other, both after long illnesses. Kathy's daughter, Beth is still recovering from emergency brain surgery in November. We are hoping that 2011 brings all of us happiness, good health and much success. There will be/are new faces at Wilmothhaus and we have set new and lofty goals. We sincerely hope that the New Year allows us the time to train and attempt to achieve these goals.
1/11 - V-Wenzel von der Edelquelle IP3. KKL1 arrives at Wilmothhaus. "Wenzi" is a son of 3 X VA Odin. We hope that he can someday take Lucca's place in our breeding program. He will be Kathy's dog to show, etc. Wenzel will stand at stud here at the kennel.
2/09/2011 - It is with great saddness that we share that our lovely Lucca has passed away. He was our friend, companion and protector and the sire of many wonderful puppies. He is soooo missed.
2/28/11 - V- Cid von der Sandkautschneise IP3, Sch3(V), KKL1 arrives at Wilmothhaus. Cid is a wonderfully temperamented male with nice drives and a super pedigree. He will be Tim's dog. Cid will stand at stud here at Wilmothhaus.
3/16/2011 - Mollie, a Lucca/Ina daughter, has completed the Pilot Dog Program. She is in her new home and doing well, we are told. Congrats on this accomplishment.
4/2011 - Abill von der Wilmothhaus and his handler, Linda, and Amber von der Wilmothhaus and her handler, Joelle, have been awarded the AKC Canine Good Citizens Award. Congrats to all of you!!!!!!!!!!
4/14/2011 - Goldi is confirmed pregnant by Griff and due on May 12th and Domina is confirmed pregnant by Wenzel and due on May 17th. Gonna be a CRAZY May here!
5/1/2011 - K-9 Echo (aka Ektor), a Brat/Griff son, was awarded a new SAR certification today. THey have now been awarded the L.E.T.S. Tracking Certification. GREAT JOB!
5/6/2-11 - Lance von der Wilmothhaus and his handler, Susan, achieve the BH at the NEOWDA Schutzhund Trial. Good job!
5/8/2011 - Kathy's Wenzel von der Edelquelle is awarded the FH1 at the NEOWDA Schutzhund Trial. Nice track, Wenzi!
5/14/2011 - Tim's male, Cid, received his 7th Sch3, was High Sch3, and Kathy's male, Wenzel, earned his Sch3 at the OG Buckeye Schutzhund Club Trial. Also, Ecko von der Wilmothhaus, a Lucca/Rosella son, earned his 5th Sch3!! It was a super day!
5/15/2011 - Misha von der Wilmothhaus is awarded the AKC Canine Good Citizens Award. Congrtas to both Misha and her handler, Sandy. Good job.
06/25/2011 - Lea von der Wilmothhaus is awarded her BH at the Penn-Ohio Schutzhund Trial. Great job to Lea and her, handler/owner, Brian.

06/26/2011 - At the OG West Penn Schutzhund Club Breed Survey at the Mid East Regional Conformation Championship:
V-Wenzel von der Edelquelle Sch3, IP3, FH1 KKL1(life) is made Koerklasse 1 for Life with a super critique.
V-Cid von der Sandkautschneise Sch3, IP3 KKL1(life) is made Koerklasse 1 for Life with a nice critique.
09/16-18/2011 - Tim's V-Cid von der Sandkautschneise Sch3, IPO3 added another Sch3 to his resume at the Mid East Regional Working Dog Championship(he is now 7 times Sch3 and 1 time IPO3). Kathy's V-Wenzel von der Edelquelle Sch3, IP3, FH1 added another Sch3 to his resume, also. Wenzel is now 2 times Sch3 and 1 time IP3. Abilty to work PLUS correct strcucture and "V" conformation--that is what it is all about!!!!!!
10/21/2011 - At the North American Sieger Show in Reston, Virginia, Rexx von der Wilmothhaus was made VP4 in a large and quality class of 3-6 month males. His littermate, Ramsay (aka Rascal) von der Wilmothhaus was made VP5! A super showing for two VERY nice Wenzel/Domina puppies!
10/22/2011 - At the North American Sieger Show in Reston, Virgina, our 12-18 month female, Maya von Dakota, was made SG11 in a class that initially had 45 entries. 30 HIGH quality females went to the ring. Maya was stunning and we are very proud!
11/5 & 6/2011 - K-9 Jordan, a Griff/Brat daughter, was awarded her area search and cadaver certifications by IPWADA. She now has achieved all three ratings. Griff would have been VERY proud, as we are.
11/4,5,6/2011 - At the German Shepherd National Working Dog Championships in Kansas City, Cid and Tim achieved another Sch3. It was a tough trial and MANY super dogs competed.
11/13/2011 - Congratulations to Mace von der Wilmothhaus and her owner/handler Marc on achieving the BH today at the NEOWDA Schutzhund Trial judged by SV judge Heiko Grube. Along with the BH, Mace was named High BH for her excellent performance! SUPER JOB!
11/19/2011 - Congratulations to our friend, Kelly Grim, and her Kimon son, Bron, on an excellent BH routine today at the OG Buckeye Schutzhund trial. A VERY GOOD JOB!
11/19/2011 - Congratulations to our V-Wenzel von der Edelquelle on adding another Sch3 to his resume at the OG Buckeye Schutzhund trial. Wenzel is now 3 X Sch3 and 1 X IPO3. His super track on a windy morning earned him a 97. We are very proud.
11/20/2011 - At the two day trial (11/19 & 20/2011) at OG Buckeye Schutzhund Club, our Wenzel is awarded High in Tracking and High Sch3. Wenzel has had a super year!
11/30/2011 - Today, Qwik and Quest von der Wilmothhaus (Griff Goldi son and daughter), Rolf von der Wilmothhaus (a Wenzel/Domina son) and Ellie ( a Griff/Nikki daughter) received the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Award. Congrats to both handlers and dogs!!!!

12/15 and 16/2011 - Ex-(Excaliber), a Griff/Brat son, made the 1st two legs of his RN at the IX Center. Congratulations on a job well done!
12/19/2011 - Our dear friends, Katharina and Juergen Oster, move to the United States from Germany. They will live next door to us and be heavily involved with Wilmothhaus!! SOOOO HAPPY!
