M.G."Tim" and Kathy Wilmoth have been breeding, raising and working quality German Shepherds at their Von Der Wilmothhaus Kennel in Tallmadge, Ohio, for 20 years.

Tim ,  after almost 40 years as a  Law Enforcement officer, retired from the Summit County Sheriff's Office on August 31, 2009.Tim was  the K-9 Coordinator and K-9 Trainer for a large K-9 Unit and, also, a handler of 3 K-9's for the Department. Tim still evaluates K-9's in all phases for the State of Ohio K-9 Evaluations.  Doing consulting and training for many venues and entities keeps him busy along with being an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

Kathy, a retired K-9 handler for the Summit County Sheriff's Office had to take a medical retirement July 1, 2008.  Some of the injuries sustained in the on-duty crash have made Kathy unable to continue being a K-9 handler. Kathy works hard at getting her health back and being able to, again, do some of the things she loves dearly.

Along with working patrol, narcotics, explosive and search and rescue/cadaver K-9s, we enjoy showing in Schutzhund trials and conformation shows for working dogs.  We, also, enjoy helping our friends and  puppy buyers to attain some of their desired goals with thier dogs.
